At BrandSearch, we respect your privacy and keep all information you provide strictly confidential. We will never share any data collected through our service with third parties, except when necessary to complete a transaction.

    Various user data is collected by BrandSearch. Data such as name, email and phone number is collected during registration for the purpose of establishing an account and preventing service abuse. Registration is not required. You may register to take advantage of higher limits and access to certain features.

    Billing information may also be collected during add-on product purchase but this data is collected by our billing processor, Stripe, and not maintained or stored by BrandSearch.

  • Data Usage and Retention Policy

    We collect only the minimal usage data necessary to operate and secure our service—such as query logs and IP addresses used to detect and prevent misuse. Once this data has fulfilled its purpose, we promptly purge it from our systems. We do not retain detailed usage records beyond the time required to protect the platform and your privacy.

    We do not use any information obtained through your searches on BrandSearch to register, backorder, or acquire domains for ourselves, our parent company, subsidiaries, or affiliates. All query data is processed solely to fulfill your search requests and to protect the integrity of our service. We never sell, rent, or share your query data with any third parties, except in order to complete a purchase transaction. In those cases, we provide only the minimum information necessary to redirect you to the marketplace’s purchase page.

  • Data Security

    BrandSearch processes all domain search queries entirely on our own servers and does not expose any query details to external APIs or services. Our search indexes and databases are hosted and managed in-house to maintain data integrity, prevent unauthorized access, and protect your privacy.

    Our data resides at a local data center facility on BrandSearch owned or leased servers. We take serious measures to ensure that our data is not accessible by unauthorized individuals.

    We implement technical and organizational measures—such as encryption in transit, firewalls, and access controls—to protect your data. However, no system is 100% secure; please use a strong, unique password and let us know immediately of any suspected breach.

  • Cookies and Tracking

    We only use session cookies for logged in users. Cookies are not used at all if you are not logged in.

    We do not use any third party analytics services to track your usage and we only use very limited internal tracking which is designed to prevent abuse and scraping.

  • Updates to This Policy

    We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last Revised” date at the top and, for material changes, notify you by email or a site banner.
